Starting from July 1, 2023, the European Union has implemented significant changes to its tariff structure, affecting various categories of goods. These changes encompass:
The Common Customs Tariff applicable to certain products has been reduced until 31 December, as established in Regulation (EU) 2022/1998. Products affected by this reduction are certain video recording or reproducing apparatus and parts of electronic assemblies, among others.
Tariff quotas and suspensions applicable in the second semester of 2022 are regulated in Regulation (EU) 2023/1191 and Regulation (EU) 2023/1190, respectively.
Products mentioned in both regulations may be imported into the European Union free of customs duties or at a reduced duty rate.
